This is what the riddle says:
With eyes wide open, I watch every guest,
searching for WHO has hands unwashed,
I never rest.
I am exhausted from such work and
wish to do something less bold,
Like that of the bored, winged fellow who keeps the peace between the hot and the cold.
Make me have his job instead of mine
And then come back here to see
what you find.

You could have either gone to the restroom or the kitchen. In the kitchen do do you see something sitting above the sink that has their eyes wide open that says the “Who”?
And now do you see a winged creature who is bored sitting between the stove (hot) and the refrigerator (cold)?
Take these to items and swap them.
Then go back to where you found the picture frame that had the riddle in it.
Scroll down if nothing happened.

If nothing happened in the room where you found the picture frame, go back to where you placed the owl and follow the kitchen counter toward the refrigerator. take your hand and reach down and to the left of where you placed the owl, in between the refrigerator and the kitchen sink counter.
Here you will find a button under the curtain. It is on the side of the cabinet. Push the button and return to the mirror that was across from the framed riddle in the hallway.
If the wall with the mirror on it didn’t open, it might have gotten stuck on something. Try to push the wall open.
