The object is to hit the center of the Staff of Ra medallion with the lazer beam. To do this you need to use the cane to move a mirror so it reflects onto the the golden hand held mirror that was in the bag.

With team work you would need to make the laser go into the Staff of Ra.

If you get it there and nothing happens, reach behind the curtain in the corner of the two walls at the very bottom search for a back up button.
