THE PIGGYWARTS CASTLE BED

This two story, torrent taunting castle of love has countless artifacts from the most popular book series ever! Use your sleuthing talents to get lost in your own magical story to unlock the various romantic gestures we have hidden for you. At the end of your night you will find a surprise here that deserves a warning label attached to it. All we are permitted to say is, prepare to turn it off quickly!

HAGRED'S BUBBLE BATH

Relax in bewitching potion bubbles created by this giant 16 jet, jacuzzi tub. Bubble your troubles away! Home to where all magical creatures find enchanting respite, you will definitely see a spark in your lover’s eye from across the tub.

HOT STONE THERAPY

The Hindus began placing hot stones on the body around 5,000 years ago to relieve pain and relax muscles. Improved circulation, better sleep, detoxification and stress reduction are just a few of the benefits from this couples’ spa treatment. Follow our instructions and use the rocks and multiple massage wands on one another to start experiencing the many benefits of this long practiced therapy. THE QUITTITCH SELFIE CHALLENGE

Work together as directors to create a dramatic moment of almost catching the snitch! Don player gear, mount your broom and feel the wind in your hair as you struggle to hold on tight! (This ridiculous, but fun photo, may make any small humans in your life extremely jealous!)

THE MASSAGE CHAIR REQUIREMENT ROOM

This room has just what you need for enchanting relaxation. Two zero gravity, full body, heated, shiatsu massage chairs are waiting to work their magic on you. Every part of your body will be thanking you as you sit in a room surrounded with everything that would ever be required!

THE LOVE SPELL ROOM

We have a feeling that not everyone will find this room, but if you do, we promise you your heart will be tugged at. Potions will surround you. Your favorite love song will play. Select the potions that represent your lover. Announce to your partner your selections and make a love potion with them.

BALLOON HEAD SWORD FIGHTING COMPETITION

Solve a wizard’s quest and unlock a room that will have you two testing your legendary sword fighting skills against one another! What begins as flirting, playful laughter quickly transforms into an epic duel of strategy, reflex and smack talk as you will battle it out to pop one another’s balloon head to claim the title of
“Protector of The Realm”.

AI WIZARD FRAMES

Ever wonder what you would look like as a wizard? Upon registration, upload photos of you and your partner and we will transform you into fantasy witches, warlocks, wizards, ogres, queens and kings. Your frame will be continuously playing on the castle wall throughout your adventure. These AI generated creations are knee slapping fun to admire. **You must book 5 days in advance for us to create this feature.

THE GRYFFINDUM SWORD CHALLENGE

In this daring test of partnership, one of you will be asked to surrender sight… while the other becomes the guide.

Assuming you find the slide that dumps you into The Lover’s Wand Foundry, it will be time to get busy designing and creating your own take home wizard wands. With paints, magical sticks, hot glue, glittery dragon scales and enchanted jewels, each one of you will create a magical wand made with
love and memories.

When you and your partner find this hidden Oasis, you’ll step into a world of glowing heat, aromatic steam, and pure indulgence. Our Hot Rock Steam Sauna is designed to melt away stress, soothe tired muscles, and gently detox your body — all while the two of you relax side-by-side in your own private sanctuary. Carefully select essential oils to release aromatic steam into the air to turning the room into whatever mood you desire.

PIGGYWARTS EXPRESS CHALLENGE

At some point in your night of adventure, you will find yourself in a train. Unleash your inner MacGyver to figure out how get it to move from one building to the next. Team work, ingenuity and a talking it through will be needed to get the train to actually move!

Provided you collected all the Horcruxes, wake up the next morning and go on another adventure! The Bonus Room is not marked on any map. It does not appear on any blueprint. It only reveals itself to lovers brave enough to solve every clue, unlock every mystery, and rise together as champions of romantic adventure!

We went out for dinner in the middle of things and if we had to do it over again we’d just order in as we ended up finishing the puzzles the next morning.  The experience was more exciting every time we solved a puzzle.  The degree of planning that went into the design is almost unthinkable. It was physically demanding, too!!  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our experience was fantastic!  We stayed in the King Louis suite in Mt. Vernon Ohio.  We went to celebrate our 20th anniversary.  It was the best anniversary we have ever had!  Solving the clues and finding the hidden rooms was really fun. My husband is really good at escape rooms so we were able  to get through the first task in less than 3 minutes.  The prom room was my favorite!  I picked out a dress from some dresses we had and we got dressed up and danced to songs that have a lot of meaning for us. They have Alexa so it is easy to play The songs you want. The salt room was so fun to get into!  A bit of a challenge but super fun!  The massage chairs were great!  Pro tip: if you need to adjust the height on the chair there is a "massage down" or "massage up" button.  It took a while to figure that out. There is a full kitchen so if you want to bring food for breakfast feel free. I am not actually sure what there is in way of cooking things as we just brought donuts, lol. But the fridge definitely worked and they had some snacks as well. When we arrived we had issues getting but we called and they were able to help.  You have to pull the really hard (like a 2 man job) and then enter you code. In the end it worked like a charm. The massage room was nice but they don't put sheets on the bed so it's a good idea to bring some. Twin size works.  We got a set at Walmart for $7 but it was worth it!  The only thing to be aware of otherwise is that it is definitely not for people with Mobility impairments.  You could probably use a big bath towel but I liked using the sheets. After we got into all the rooms and solved all the puzzles (except the treasure chest which we saved for later) we were able to walk to a nearby restaurant. My husband got a burger and I got some really good linguini Alfredo.  Solving on the riddles took us about 1.5 hours. We were out to dinner and Walmart for about another hour. We didn't need electronics because we had so much fun doing all the things. The body paint room was fun.  Less sexy than I was thinking much more artistic at least for us but still very fun!  Also you have to be careful to not track paint through the house on the way to the tub which actually wasn't hard.  We were careful and didn't even get paint on the paint table. That said.  I had a really hard time falling asleep in our giant bed because I couldn't stop smiling!  We were there one minute before five and waited until 5 to go in.  We stayed until 1 minutes before 11!  We wanted to be there as long as we could because it was such a a good time!  The shower/jetted tub also has a steam room function!  The bed was enormous 11 feet by 11 feet based on our non scientific measurements.  My husband loved the four posters and the curtains and dreams of one day getting one. We definitely don't have a ceiling high enough.

As escape room enthusiasts, they felt very obvious to us but we know that wouldn’t be the case for every couple. There were secret rooms and passage ways that amazed us at every turn. The website describes exactly what you’ll get in your room so you have a good sense of what sorts of surprises will be revealed. And the owners were so quick to get back to us on even minor issues! Kept it a surprise until we stepped foot into the King Louis XIV Suite & I closed the door behind us.   He quickly figured out what we were doing & all he kept saying was “WOW!” or “This is SO COOL!” with  every new discovery!  100% worth the drive, the gas, the sitter headache before we left….we’re already trying to decide when we can get away again to try a different suite The location was easy to get to & a beautiful area The attention to detail was amazing! Truly the perfect getaway for adventurous couples! I booked us for my husband’s birthday and we had a great time solving the clues and finding the rooms! We ate at one of the recommended spots and enjoyed it! All of the added rooms and the canvas painting were so much fun! I will definitely be planning another trip in the future. I do wish it were a little closer to Pittsburgh though. It’s a 2:30 hr drive for us. It was worth it, but a little far.
