Romantic Adventure Getaways

We stayed in the Paradise Lost suite and had a blast. We went out for dinner in the middle of things and if we had to do it over again we’d just order in as we ended up finishing the puzzles the next morning. The experience was more exciting every time we solved a puzzle. The degree of planning that went into the design is almost unthinkable. It was physically demanding, too!! Would highly recommend to anyone up for the challenge. Thanks for a one-of-a-kind experience.

So much fun! Needed a second night to enjoy all the features we opened the first night. Will definately do it again - want to try all the themes. By far, the best suite I've stayed in.

The clues were fun, the house was really an adventure, the passages and activities we will remember forever. We hope to visit a new room too.

Our experience was fantastic! We stayed in the King Louis suite in Mt. Vernon Ohio. We went to celebrate our 20th anniversary. It was the best anniversary we have ever had! Solving the clues and finding the hidden rooms was really fun. My husband is really good at escape rooms so we were able to get through the first task in less than 3 minutes. The prom room was my favorite! I picked out a dress from some dresses we had and we got dressed up and danced to songs that have a lot of meaning for us. They have Alexa so it is easy to play The songs you want. The salt room was so fun to get into! A bit of a challenge but super fun! The massage chairs were great! Pro tip: if you need to adjust the height on the chair there is a "massage down" or "massage up" button. It took a while to figure that out. There is a full kitchen so if you want to bring food for breakfast feel free. I am not actually sure what there is in way of cooking things as we just brought donuts, lol. But the fridge definitely worked and they had some snacks as well. When we arrived we had issues getting but we called and they were able to help. You have to pull the really hard (like a 2 man job) and then enter you code. In the end it worked like a charm. The massage room was nice but they don't put sheets on the bed so it's a good idea to bring some. Twin size works. We got a set at Walmart for $7 but it was worth it! The only thing to be aware of otherwise is that it is definitely not for people with Mobility impairments. You could probably use a big bath towel but I liked using the sheets. After we got into all the rooms and solved all the puzzles (except the treasure chest which we saved for later) we were able to walk to a nearby restaurant. My husband got a burger and I got some really good linguini Alfredo. Solving on the riddles took us about 1.5 hours. We were out to dinner and Walmart for about another hour. We didn't need electronics because we had so much fun doing all the things. The body paint room was fun. Less sexy than I was thinking much more artistic at least for us but still very fun! Also you have to be careful to not track paint through the house on the way to the tub which actually wasn't hard. We were careful and didn't even get paint on the paint table. That said. I had a really hard time falling asleep in our giant bed because I couldn't stop smiling! We were there one minute before five and waited until 5 to go in. We stayed until 1 minutes before 11! We wanted to be there as long as we could because it was such a a good time! The shower/jetted tub also has a steam room function! The bed was enormous 11 feet by 11 feet based on our non scientific measurements. My husband loved the four posters and the curtains and dreams of one day getting one. We definitely don't have a ceiling high enough.

My partner and I stayed in the King Louis Room in Mount Vernon. It was so charming. Puzzles were simple but fun! As escape room enthusiasts, they felt very obvious to us but we know that wouldn’t be the case for every couple. There were secret rooms and passage ways that amazed us at every turn. The website describes exactly what you’ll get in your room so you have a good sense of what sorts of surprises will be revealed. And the owners were so quick to get back to us on even minor issues! A wonderful, romantic trip that strengthened our relationship.

Surprised my husband for his 50th birthday. Kept it a surprise until we stepped foot into the King Louis XIV Suite & I closed the door behind us. He quickly figured out what we were doing & all he kept saying was “WOW!” or “This is SO COOL!” with every new discovery! 100% worth the drive, the gas, the sitter headache before we left….we’re already trying to decide when we can get away again to try a different suite The location was easy to get to & a beautiful area The attention to detail was amazing! Loved every second of it.

My husband and I stayed in the King Louis suite, and to say it was absolutely incredible would be an understatement! We had the most amazing time, and it was time that we definitely needed. Everything was perfect, and we can not wait to go back and explore another room!!

This was honestly top 5 best experiences I’ve ever had. I’m a big fan of escape rooms and we just had a blast! Truly the perfect getaway for adventurous couples! I booked us for my husband’s birthday and we had a great time solving the clues and finding the rooms! We ate at one of the recommended spots and enjoyed it! All of the added rooms and the canvas painting were so much fun! I will definitely be planning another trip in the future. I do wish it were a little closer to Pittsburgh though. It’s a 2:30 hr drive for us. It was worth it, but a little far.

The room was great, but we were offered add on's at no cost by providing feedback to the owner, I emailed to the team and received a return email ensuring this would happen. There was no body paint canvas left for us ? We have done this experience 5 times and have never had an issue, maybe they just forgot. We still had a fantastic time and it was nice to spend time together.
